AMBA
...putting teachers first
Who are the most important people in your school?
Yes, of course the pupils are important – and should be at the heart of all we do. However, we believe it is the staff that are the most important people within a school. Using the ‘oxygen mask’ principle, if we don’t put our own oxygen masks on first, then we can’t help anyone else. Schools are the same – how can we expect teachers to inspire, motivate and guide our young people if they don’t feel cared for, respected and valued themselves? Emotions are contagious and a happy, fulfilled workforce creates ripples of positivity which spread throughout the school and beyond.

We believe that by targeting both ends of this continuum – staff wellbeing at one end and pupil behaviour at the other, schools have the opportunity to create a balanced, sustainable culture promoting positivity and outstanding learning behaviour.

Course Costs:
Course costs vary but on average equate to £750 per half day/twilight session for groups of 15 people, with a follow-up ‘coach and refresh’ session included in the price. For behaviour management training, where possible, we recommend that the Head or a member of the Senior Management Team as well as a Governor attends the training.
